  • Next.js application — First-party website delivery. First-party application that renders and serves the website.
  • Calendly — External scheduling. Ordinary external link. Booking information is supplied directly to Calendly when a visitor chooses to book.
  • Google Workspace (Gmail) — Email / mailbox provider. Processes messages visitors voluntarily send to the branded email address via their own mail client. Inbox hosting for david@techiedavid.com is provided by Google Workspace (Gmail).
  • LinkedIn — External profile link. Ordinary external profile link; no embed.
  • GitHub — External profile link. Ordinary external profile link; no embed.

Visitors should review the privacy notices of third-party services they choose to use. Enquiries occur through email and Calendly as an ordinary external link; the website itself does not collect enquiry messages on-site.

International processing

Some service providers may process information outside the visitor’s country. Provider locations, contractual safeguards, and applicable transfer restrictions are described in those providers’ own notices and contracts.

Retention

Different categories of information are retained according to their purpose. Owner-approved retention criteria for this notice are:

  • Hosting and security logs — Per Vercel’s log retention
  • Calendly-held data — Governed by Calendly’s settings and policies

Depending on applicable law and its commencement, individuals may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, grievance redressal, objection, restriction, or withdrawal of consent.

Reasonable safeguards appropriate to a small professional website and email enquiry workflow are used. No method of transmission or storage is absolutely secure.
