About Me

Hello, I’m David Samson | Senior Software Developer

In the matter of web design, a web development plays a vital role in your business website success. While web design covers the graphics and layout of your website, web development is the core coding that holds your web applications together.

Strong web development bolsters your web design so that you have error-free and comparatively quick loading pages and a flexible web structure to support an expanding business. I provide web design and web development rooted in creativity and technical expertise.

Why me?

Most website developers deliver out of the box business sites that look great as a brochure but lack interactivity and connection with the customer. These dry, uninviting sites lack originality and quickly turn off customers. Sites with cookie-cutter templates take very little time to set up. As a result, these sites rarely lead to a successful business because customers leave as soon as they arrive. When they leave, they are left without an impact or lasting impression of your corporate identity. This gives them little reason to return.

I am a professional web application developer with more than 10 years of experience on various platform and I recognize the value of solid information architecture design and integrative branding that engages the customer from the first stop at your site. Engagement with your customer is crucial to tying into their emotional connection to your site and developing loyalty. Behind great design lies website development that contains solid coding and web application design with targeted features that place your business at a competitive advantage.

  • I know nothing about website design and development. Can you help me?

You don’t have to be an expert in web design or development to seek my help. My services are comprehensive, and once I know the needs of your organization and what you want to include in your website, I will be responsible for taking care of all the coding and the design assignments.
  • How long will it take you to finish building a website?

Building a website requires proper care. From designing to coding and testing to hosting, every step has to be carefully managed. The time it takes, however, depends on the size and complexity of the website. For websites with 5 to 10 static pages, 1 or 2 weeks is enough to deliver your website. Websites that have many pages, complexity and requires a lot of third-party integrations will take more than 4 weeks to fully deliver.
  • What kind of payment terms do you use?

A first deposit (which is half or ¾ of the full amount) is made by my client after the contract has been discussed & signed. After I build the site, the client will check the website, make the necessary comments, and after everything is approved, the final payment would be made. After which, I would go on to launch the site.
  • Do I need both Website Design and Development if I already have a website?

Web Design and Web development are different concepts. Web design has to do with your site’s appearance, the coloring, the pixels, and the design that the customer sees when they visit. Web development refers to the code that ensures interactivity, which works behind the scenes and helps make sure that customers are able to do a lot of things including downloading things, making purchases, and processing payments.
If you have an already existing site, you might need a web design service if you have issues with the design. You may also need web development services in case user interactivity and third-party integrations are not working well. Or you may need web development in case you want some customized modules developed for your existing website.
So in the end, it all boils down to your needs.
  • What are my favourite frameworks and libs?

I have worked with many frameworks and libs but my favourite is Asp.Net. I am learning and developing applications on the Dot Net Core framework. I am also an excellent developer when it comes to using CSS, HTML, Bootstrap, jQuery, JSON, and many other platforms to build and deploy websites.
  • How much does a website cost?

Websites come in different sizes, in different designs, and in different complexity levels. The cost varies depending on which kind of website you want to build. Of course, building an e-commerce website will attract a different cost from building a personal website. It all depends on your business size and the integration you want to include.
  • What type of organizations do you work with?

I work with a wide variety of businesses, companies, and individuals. From start-ups to big corporations, B2B to B2C businesses, non-profits, government institutions, and individuals. It doesn’t matter your niche, I tailor my web design and development services to meet the needs of all my clients.
  • Will I collaborate with you to build the site?

Web development requires the understanding of the needs of an individual or business. As such, I work with you, the client, to understand your customers and your needs as an organization. I use this information to build the website. I also give you updates from time to time to ensure that each and every part of the website corresponds to how you want it.
  • Another firm built my website, can you help me upgrade it?

Of course. I help with all web design and development works. From creating a completely new site to building, upgrading, and managing already existing sites, I will help you throughout the journey.
  • Do your sites fit all devices?

Yes. It is called Responsive Website Design. Since users will access your website from different devices, I build websites to make sure that they are accessible on any device. Your website will work on mobile, tablet, iPad or on a desktop without any issues.

Few tips for developers to successfully completing their software development on time.

Successful way of completing software on time

Every software developer will always want to finish their project faster and beat deadlines. But there is one thing we don’t have: which is time. We all try out best to finish the final product on time, be able to launch it on the promised date or deliver it to our clients as per promised date. But that doesn’t always materialize.

In most cases, we always blame our slow coding pace for the delays. However, when you look deeper, there is something that keeps us from meeting deadlines or successfully finishing our projects on time. Let’s dive deep into the techniques we can all use to finish on time.

Don’t jump into coding – Plan First

As software engineers, we have a habit of jumping to start coding immediately we get a project. But just like any field, be it business, medicine, or technology, planning is a key. The secret to finishing your software development project on time is to plan. This will help you envision all the parts that will go into the project, the methods you will use to fit all these parts into a complete code etc.
